Beware products advertised as tequila without displaying “100% Agave Tequila.” If this declaration is not made, it usually means the product is made with “Mixto.”

Mixto only has to be made from 51% agave. The rest of the alcohol is usually from cain sugar or high fructose corn syrup. This is the stuff that delivers brutal hangovers and vague memories of bad decisions.

We only use 100% agave spirits and they are all 100% organic. To everything else, we say “No way José!”
